Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced some altogether encouraging personnel news in his squad.

This comes amid confirmation that, all going according to plan, Eduardo Camavinga should be available for selection to face Atlético Madrid this weekend.

Midfielder Camavinga has for his part been sidelined since the middle of January, owing to a hamstring injury suffered en route to Real’s extra-time Copa del Rey victory over Celta Vigo.

The Frenchman had been spotted back out on the grass over recent days, though, giving rise to hope of an imminent return to competitive action.

Speaking to the media on the back of his side’s victory over Leganés on Wednesday night, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of Camavinga’s wellbeing was put to boss Carlo Ancelotti.

And the Italian tactician went on to confirm:

“I think Eduardo Camavinga will be fit for the Atlético match.”
