Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has made clear that his intention is to stay put with the club for next season.

That’s according to Marca, who have on Friday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in the Spanish capital.

The subject of Ancelotti’s future has of course dominated the headlines across Spain over the course of the last 48 hours.

This comes with Real Madrid’s exit from the Champions League at the hands of Arsenal having given rise to widespread speculation, pointing towards an incoming exit for the Italian.

The likes of Xabi Alonso and Jürgen Klopp, in turn, have been tipped as potential arrivals on the bench at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Safe to say, however, that if Carlo Ancelotti has his own way, he will be going nowhere any time soon.

As per a report from Marca, amid ongoing interest in his services on the part of the Brazilian national team:

‘Carlo Ancelotti’s sole and absolute priority is to continue at Real Madrid. He’s clear about that, and the club’s management knows it. He feels strong and capable of fighting for everything until his last breath.’
