Real Madrid will clash heads with Villarreal this Saturday night as they look to secure a win on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to secure a dominant 6-1 victory over Monaco recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.
Alvaro Arbeloa will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make one change to his first team for this clash. Alvaro Carreras could play from the start of this game.
Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for Los Blancos after conceding one goal in his last outing. Raul Asencio will resume his partnership with Dean Huijsen at the centre of Arbeloa’s defence as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Federico Valverde will try to prove his value as the right-back, while Alvaro Carreras hopes to impress on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
David Alaba will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga and Arda Guler will make up Real Madrid’s midfield. All three of them need to retain possession well at the centre of the park if they want to orchestrate some inviting chances in the final third.
Dani Ceballos will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed. However, Aurelien Tchouameni will be sidelined for this game because of suspension.
Vinicius Junior will try to put his pace to good use on the left flank, while Franco Mastantuono hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the right-sided wide player.
Kylian Mbappe will spearhead Arbeloa’s attack up top. He would be eager to make a difference for Los Blancos by putting in a goal-scoring display this weekend.
Gonzalo Garcia will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if Real Madrid are in need of a goal by then.
