André Carrillo completed his first full match for Corinthians in seven months, playing the entire 1-1 draw at Cruzeiro in the fourth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
According to Globo.com, the Peruvian midfielder had not gone 90 minutes plus stoppage time since 26 July 2025, against Botafogo in the 17th round.
In the period between those games, he made 22 appearances before Wednesday's fixture, having spent two and a half months out with a left ankle ligament injury that required surgery.
He returned ahead of schedule but was largely eased back, often starting on the bench or being substituted early, frequently as the first change.
Speaking after the match at Mineirão, Dorival said it was pleasing to see Carrillo regain condition, praising both his physical output and technical quality as the team settled.
The coach added that he hopes Carrillo can maintain this level and, given his importance, handle full matches, noting that his ability to dictate tempo is fundamental to the side.
Corinthians face Novorizontino in the Campeonato Paulista semi-finals on Saturday at 20:30, Brasília time.
