CD Castellón B could open a new stand at Gaetà Huguet when UD Sant Andreu visit on Saturday 14 March, with kick-off at 12.00 in Group 3 of the Segunda Federación.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, a portable metal structure more than 65 metres long with six rows was installed between Monday and Wednesday. The works finished on Wednesday and the seats are still to be fitted.

The structure is already in place for home fixtures and can accommodate more than 500 spectators. It is expected to be used for the first time against the Catalan leaders, with Sant Andreu’s travelling support likely to be located there.

Wooden bleachers behind the south goal by the Municipal Olympic Pool were in place at the start of the season, but were removed a few weeks ago during city council operations.

Sant Andreu lead on 45 points and tend to bring strong away support. Castellón B sit 11th on 34, five points from both the promotion and relegation play-off places.

Óscar López’s side have been on an excellent run since his arrival. They beat Poblense in their last home match and are five points above the relegation zone.
