CD Castellón loan Ismael Fadel to UD Ibiza | OneFootball

CD Castellón have sent Ismael Fadel on loan to UD Ibiza until the end of the season, the club said in a statement.

The 22-year-old defender joined in the winter window from Yeclano Deportivo on a deal to June 2027. He quickly became a starter for the B team and, within weeks, made his Segunda División debut in a big win in Valladolid.

A Real Zaragoza academy graduate, he was a regular in Pablo Hernández’s sessions and featured three times for the first team. With Castellón B he led the back line and was among their standout performers.

Across Yeclano Deportivo, Castellón B and the senior side, he played 34 matches and scored twice. In February the club’s plan for him mirrored Jozhua Vertrouwd’s first season, training and competing with the seniors while remaining available to the B team to aid development.

A stint in Primera Federación is intended to further that progress. He has yet to play in the division, so this will be his debut there.

The clubs have been frequent collaborators. In recent days they also reached an agreement for Fran Castillo to move to SkyFi Castalia, and last season completed a similar deal with the loan of academy prospect José Albert to Ibiza until the end of the campaign.
