Cebolinha faces re-evaluation, could feature in Flamengo's Libertadores finale | OneFootball

Flamengo face Cusco (PER) on Tuesday in the final round of the Libertadores group stage, and Everton Cebolinha could be involved.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the forward will undergo a re-evaluation during Tuesday's activation session. If the No 11 responds well, Leonardo Jardim could include him in the matchday squad.

Cebolinha reported hip pain after the 1-1 draw with Athletico-PR in the Brasileirão on 17 May. Subsequent tests identified a minor injury, and he has since been with the medical department.

Flamengo have two confirmed absences for Tuesday. Arrascaeta remains in treatment after surgery on his right clavicle, while Jorginho sustained a fracture in his right big toe against Palmeiras on Saturday, 23 May.

Kick-off at the Maracanã is 21:30, Brasília time. The tie completes the group stage, with a full house anticipated from the home support.
