Celtic face Hearts on Sunday as the Scottish Premiership’s top two sides meet at Celtic Park. The Scottish Champions were beaten by Derek McInnes’ side when the teams met earlier this season which resulted in Brendan Rodgers’ departure. Since then, Martin O’Neill returned and interim and signed off with a win over Dundee, which pulled Celtic level on points.

Wilfried Nancy took over in the Celtic dugout after the midweek win and he will be tasked with taking The Hoops back to the top of the table. Eyes will be on the Frenchman to see whether he makes any changes but it may be that this game comes too soon for the former Columbus Crew boss to make alterations to his team.

Team News

Celtic go into the game with a number of injuries with Marcelo Saracchi adding to the treatment table with a recurrence of his hamstring injury. The fullback joins Jota, James Forrest, Alastair Johnston Callum Osmand and Cameron Carter-Vickers on the sidelines.

Kasper Schmeichel will start in goals.

Liam Scales and Austin Trusty will start as the central pairing with Colby Donovan expected to continue. Kieran Tierney will come into the starting XI at the expense of Saracchi despite having an injury to his toe during the week.
