Cerén, Fuentes lead El Salvador over Barbados in W Qualifiers | OneFootball

SANTA TECLA, El Salvador – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Qualifiers continúe with El Salvador defeating Barbados, 13-nil, in Group F on Sunday at Estadio Nacional Las Delicias in Santa Tecla, El Salvador. 

Danielle Fuentes and captain Brenda Cerén led the way, each with hat tricks as part of an offensive display. Both had a brace at halftime, along with goals from Danya Gutiérrez and Victoria Meza to make it a 6-nil advantage at the break.

La Selecta scored four goals in a seven-minute span to close out the half.

The scoring didn’t slow down in the second half for the hosts, as Cerén netted her third in the 72’, and Fuentes completed her hat trick in the 87’. 

Jackeline Velásquez contributed a second-half brace with goals in the 79’ and 90’+4’.

El Salvador will play Trinidad and Tobago, while Barbados will face Honduras, during the April Qualifying window.
