Wycombe Wanderers booked their place in the FA Cup second round with a dominant 2-0 win over Plymouth Argyle last weekend — and their attacking numbers this season make for impressive reading.
Michael Duff’s side brushed aside the Pilgrims’ challenge at Adams Park, with striker Cauley Woodrow grabbing both goals. The former Fulham forward coolly converted a penalty midway through the second half before adding a scrappy second soon after to seal the tie for the Chairboys.
Despite last week’s Carabao Cup exit to Fulham on penalties, Wycombe remain unbeaten in their last seven matches in normal time — and their consistency in front of goal has been remarkable.
The Buckinghamshire club have scored in 19 of their 21 games this season, more than any other team in The 92 across all domestic competitions.
Currently sitting 17th in League One, Wycombe will look to carry that momentum into Saturday’s trip to Leyton Orient. With only Plymouth (25) conceding more goals in the division than The O's so far, the Chairboys will back themselves to keep the goals flowing in East London.
