Leading Group A with 7 points from 3 matches, Kenya is well on its way to securing a spot in the quarter-finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024). Their qualification could be clinched as early as the Matchday 5 clash against Zambia.
The Harambee Stars will face the Chipolopolos this Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Moi International Sports Centre (Nairobi), with kickoff at 2:00 p.m. GMT. This high-stakes encounter will be played in front of a sold-out crowd.
Indeed, tickets for this eagerly anticipated match went on sale via the Mookh Africa online platform overnight Monday to Tuesday and were completely sold out in just five and a half hours. This record-setting pace is a testament to the passion of Kenyan fans for the tournament.
It is worth noting that the Confederation of African Football has reduced stadium capacity to 60%, allowing only 27,000 spectators due to incidents that occurred during the Kenya-Morocco match.
