Real Madrid could be set for a surprising departure this summer, with Eduardo Camavinga emerging as one of the players the club is willing to sacrifice to fund new signings.
According to a report from Defensa Central, president Florentino Perez sees Camavinga as a valuable asset who could generate significant funds in the market.
The idea is to sell to reinvest and strengthen key areas of the squad.
Interest in the French midfielder is already building. Chelsea and Manchester United are both closely monitoring the situation and are reportedly willing to offer around €70 million to secure his services.
Despite being under contract until 2029, Camavinga’s role in the squad has come under pressure.
With increasing competition in midfield, his position is no longer guaranteed and there is also an expectation that Real Madrid could bring in another midfielder, which would further reduce his importance.
However, the problem is that Camavinga is not actively looking to leave.

At this stage, he remains committed to staying in Madrid, and there has been no indication from his camp that he is pushing for an exit.
Financially, though, the Premier League presents a different picture altogether.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United are prepared to offer significantly improved terms.
In fact, reports suggest his salary could increase by nearly 50% compared to his current earnings, which stand at around €6.2 million net per year.
Even so, there have been no formal negotiations so far. Real Madrid have not opened talks with either club, and the interest has only been communicated indirectly.
For now, it remains a situation to watch rather than an advanced transfer operation.
