Enzo Fernandez has found himself at the centre of growing tension at Chelsea, with his recent comments and behaviour reportedly causing unrest within the dressing room, a situation that could indirectly benefit Real Madrid.

According to recent developments from AS, frustration among Chelsea players has been building, with several teammates unhappy about how the Argentine midfielder has conducted himself in recent weeks. 

The primary issue appears to come from his openness regarding a potential future away from the club, particularly his public admiration for Madrid.

In a recent interview, Enzo did little to quiet speculation about his long-term intentions, openly speaking about his desire to experience life in Spain.

“I’d like to live in Spain. I really like Madrid; it reminds me of Buenos Aires. I’d live in Madrid. A football player lives wherever he wants,” he said.

Chelsea are not happy

Those remarks, quite understandably, have not gone down well internally. 

Within the Chelsea dressing room, such statements are being viewed as a lack of commitment at a time when the club is already going through a difficult period on and off the pitch.

Beyond the comments, there have also been reported tensions during matches.

One notable incident involved a heated exchange with goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen during a clash against PSG, while similar situations have reportedly occurred with other teammates, whom Enzo has openly criticised during games.
