Chelsea have opened talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani, according to L’Equipe.

The French striker joined Juventus on loan in the second half of the last season after falling out with manager Luis Enrique.

His stay with the Italian giants has been extended until the end of the Club World Cup. They are looking to make his transfer permanent after being impressed by his performances.

Kolo Muani bagged eight goals in 16 Serie A games to help Juve qualify for the Champions League.

He also scored twice in the 5-0 win against Al-Ain in their opening match of the Club World Cup.

Juve are trying to keep Kolo Muani rather than pursue moves for Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres.

Chelsea have thrown their hat into the ring for the Frenchman, whose PSG contract expires in June 2028.

They may have to pay up to €50 million for the Frenchman, who is also on Manchester United’s wishlist.

The Blues recently acquired Liam Delap from Ipswich Town for £30 million, but they are looking to add another striker to the ranks.

Nicolas Jackson’s future at Chelsea is uncertain. Napoli and Juventus have been linked with him, and he could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
