Chelsea are considering their options when it comes to Raheem Sterling's future according to reports.
The 31-year-old has been a part of the Blues' 'bomb squad' and is yet to feature for the first team this season having spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Arsenal.
According to journalist Sami Mokbel of BBC Sport, Chelsea are weighing up their options with a sale or loan move a preferred option – although the player is believed to want to stay in London.
However, there is a chance that Sterling's contract could be terminated leaving him free to join another club. The only issue is that the player is currently on £325,000 per week wages until the end of the 2026/27 season which would need to be paid.
Sterling last featured for Chelsea in May 2024 when he scored what turned out to be the decisive goal at home to Bournemouth. In total, the 31-year-old has played 81 times for the club, scoring 19 goals and making 12 assists.
