Earlier this year, PSG sold Xavi Simons to RB Leipzig, and the Dutch midfielder has since drawn interest from several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Fabrizio Romano previously reported that Leipzig paid €80 million for Simons, with €55 million paid up front. The 22-year-old signed a contract through June 2027, and PSG included a sell-on clause in the deal.

CaughtOffside recently reported that Simons is available for around €60 million this summer and is open to a Premier League move.

Talks are already underway regarding a possible transfer to London, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham all considered potential destinations for the Netherlands international.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are interested in signing Simons but will need to offload some players first to make space for the RB Leipzig playmaker. Simons is reportedly open to making the move to Stamford Bridge.

This week, Romano reported that Arsenal are considering adding another attacking player after signing Viktor Gyökeres. Eberechi Eze and Simons are said to be among the options being looked at.

Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported Monday that Chelsea are set to hold more talks with Xavi Simons’ camp later in the evening. The club remain seriously interested and are pushing to strike a verbal agreement.

RB Leipzig are open to selling Simons and are seeking a total package worth at least €70 million, but Chelsea are hoping to bring that number down. If talks fall through, other clubs are prepared to jump into the mix.
