Chelsea would only be open to lucrative offers for Pedro Neto amid reported interest from several clubs in the versatile winger.

The Blues have already sold one of their wingers this summer, with Alejandro Garnacho joining Aston Villa on a season-long loan with a conditional obligation for a permanent move.

However, the arrivals of Morgan Rogers and Geovany Quenda raise the question of whether Chelsea would have to offload another winger to make space for the new signings.

Quenda, in particular, primarily operates on the right flank, similar to Neto, as well as Estevao Willian.

Neto’s versatility, however, makes him a valuable asset to any squad.

He is capable of playing as a left winger and a centre forward, which he did on several occasions at Chelsea last season. He has also had some experience playing as a wing-back.

Unsurprisingly, he played the second most Premier League minutes for the club among their attackers last campaign, after Joao Pedro.

He made 52 appearances for Chelsea last season across all competitions, in which he managed to contribute 10 goals and 10 assists.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are not actively trying to sell the Portugal international this summer.

The club, however, are not surprised by interest in Neto, who has been linked with Manchester City, Liverpool, and Saudi Arabian clubs.

It is worth noting that former Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca is now in charge of Manchester City, and Neto is one of the players he utilised a lot during his spell at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea to adjust their asking price to the market

The club are said to be aware of the asking prices slapped on other top wingers in the current market, specifically RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande and Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola.

Both Diomande and Barcola are expected to cost potential buyers over £100 million, and while it is unlikely that Chelsea could sell Neto at that price, it still gives the club an idea of the market rate.

That said, Chelsea have yet to quote a price for the winger.

Regardless, Chelsea should be under no pressure to offload the 26-year-old, who could prove to be a valuable squad player to new manager Alonso.

Neto is currently still on a break after representing Portugal in the 2026 World Cup, and it remains unclear if he will take part in Chelsea’s pre-season tour in Australia and Asia.
