Melanie Leupolz is set to depart Chelsea and make the switch to Real Madrid this summer.
Reports from MARCA and Relevo claim the 30-year-old midfielder has already signed a deal with the Spanish giants.
An official statement is expected to arrive next week once the transfer window opens on 1 July.
Leupolz was a key player under former manager Emma Hayes and currently has a contract with the Blues until 2026.
Madrid, however, are looking to bolster their squad quality and establish themselves in the women’s game.
Leupolz notably won the 2013 Women’s EUROs and 2016 Olympic Gold with Germany.
