Chelsea out of the race to sign out-of-favour France international? | OneFootball

There are plenty of renowned clubs across Europe interested in Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani (26), however, according to L’Équipe, Chelsea aren’t one of them.

Foot Mercato reported over the weekend that Chelsea were one of several clubs interested in the France international, who has been frequently omitted from PSG’s matchday squads in recent weeks. The London-based club, Foot Mercato understood, were going to act on that interest in the coming days by contacting PSG directly regarding the forward.

However, L’Équipe have now denied that Chelsea have an interest in Kolo Muani. The publication quotes sources close to the deal.

Whilst the Premier League side may not be interested, plenty of their rivals are. Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United have all been cited as candidates for the forward’s signature with Les Parisiens looking for a fee upwards of €60m. There is also interest from the Bundesliga (Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig) and Serie A (AC Milan, Juventus).
