Matt Law has been more and more outspoken about Chelsea in recent weeks, and he’s really opened up now by claiming that the club’s players are not onboard with Liam Rosenior and his style of play.
“You can tell [Chelsea players] don’t believe in it. The way they’re not carrying out instructions, how they’re not really recovering from anything tells you they don’t actually believe in the way they’re being asked to play too,” Law said on the London is Blue podcast.
It’s certainly looking more and more like the group are simply not on-board with Rosenior, and Saturday’s meek surrender to Everton was the worst evidence of that we’ve seen yet.
But switching coach isn’t going to solve much either. As Law points out, it only increases the chaos at a club where coaches are being cycled through season after season.
“It’s very difficult. Top clubs hate having mid-season coaching changes, it creates chaos, it creates uncertainty, it creates belief issues.”

Fabrizio Romano insists that Moises Caicedo is happy at Chelsea and won’t be pushing for a move like his teammate.
