Chelsea star responds to Real Madrid links | OneFootball

Chelsea star Moisés Caicedo has spoken out on the ongoing speculation linking him with a potential future move to Real Madrid.

The board at the Santiago Bernabéu are of course widely expected to splash out on reinforcements in the middle of the park with a view to next season.

Amid ongoing concerns surrounding the level of the engine room options in Real’s first-team ranks, Florentino Pérez and co. are understood to have drawn up a shortlist of high-profile targets.

A number of leading midfield names from across Europe have been tipped as being part of this list.

The aforementioned Caicedo is one such profile, alongside Chelsea teammate Enzo Fernández.

And as alluded to above, this week, the former has addressed these links in unwavering fashion.

Questioned on a potential Real Madrid switch during an exchange with the media (as cited by Fabrizio Romano), Caicedo did his utmost to reiterate his complete commitment to current employers Chelsea:

“I want to become a Chelsea legend. I’m under contract at Chelsea and my focus is on Chelsea and Ecuador.”
