West Ham nearly got an immediate response as Katrina Gorry’s effort from 20 yards out hit the woodwork.Rytting Kaneryd left the hosts with a mountain to climb, doubling Chelsea’s lead from six yards in the 13th minute, after brilliant work from Wieke Kaptein.Two minutes later, Erin Cuthbert made it 3-0, taking control of the ball from a turnover, with no West Ham defender to close her down, she pinged her shot into the top corner.West Ham’s woes deepened when Ines Belloumou was sent off in the 23rd minute after fouling Alyssa Thompson.Chelsea almost increased their tally in the first half stoppage time when Kaptein hit the woodwork.Chelsea began the second half on the front foot, and Oriane Jean-Francois hit the side netting.
