Chivas Femenil faced NC Courage

On Friday night, Chivas Femenil played their sixth international match in the United States against North Carolina Courage at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. The match was an important international experience for Antonio Contreras' team ahead of the 2025 Apertura, and ended in a 4-0 win for the home side.

In yet another match against NWSL teams for the Rebaño, an unfortunate start to the game made it an uphill battle for the Rojiblancos, who conceded three goals in the first half due to fortuitous rebounds inside the area. As time went on, our team settled into the game, making it more competitive in individual duels.

This match also allowed the coach to give playing time to each of his players, while testing new variations in the team with an eye on what lies ahead for Guadalajara in the 2025 Apertura.

Chivas Femenil will return to the Pearl of the West to begin preparing for their home debut at AKRON Stadium, where they will face Juárez on Thursday, July 31, at 7 p.m. for Matchday 3 of AP25.
