It’s true that their last result left Chivas Femenil with a sense of unfinished business—one they’ll have the chance to shake off this Thursday when they return to action in the Clausura 2026. The midweek round brings their second-to-last home match, as they host Mazatlán at Estadio AKRON for Matchday 14, a rival against whom the Rebaño holds a very favorable record.
Not only does it come down to 10 wins in 11 meetings against Las Cañoneras, but whenever Guadalajara sees their opponent in purple, they consistently find the net: they’ve scored at least one goal in every match since Mazatlán joined Liga MX Femenil.
The numbers are striking—Chivas Femenil has scored 40 goals against the Sinaloan side while conceding just 3. To put that into perspective, three of their five biggest wins in club history have come against Mazatlán, with scorelines of 8, 7, and 6 goals, all without conceding.
In fact, despite being one of the newest teams in the league, Mazatlán ranks sixth among the clubs that have conceded the most goals against the Rebaño Sagrado in Liga MX Femenil history. Even in the one loss Chivas has suffered against them, they still managed to find the net.
