Chivas squad list to face Cruz Azul | OneFootball

Guadalajara worked hard throughout the week to iron out the details that have prevented them from being in a better position in the table and are more than ready for their match this Saturday at the AKRON Stadium against Cruz Azul, corresponding to Matchday 7 of the 2025 Apertura Tournament.

This will be a very demanding test, as the Rebaño will face one of the most difficult opponents in Liga MX, which is why Gabriel Milito has selected 22 Rojiblancos, with whom he will seek to put on a good footballing performance that will allow them to earn three very important points alongside the Rojiblanco Nation.

It is important to point out that Richard Ledezma and Daniel Aguirre were not included in the squad, as both reported muscle discomfort during last weekend's match against Xolos. Upon their return to Guadalajara, they underwent the corresponding imaging tests, which confirmed an adductor injury for Ledezma and a hamstring injury for Aguirre. During the week, they have been working on their recovery in order to return to group training as soon as possible.

Other players who are still recovering from their respective injuries are Alan Pulido and José Castillo, while Javier Hernández has completed his rehabilitation process and was considered for this match against Cruz Azul.
