Arsenal midfielder Christian Norgaard is looking to leave Mikel Arteta’s side at the end of the season, according to the Sun.

The Dane joined the Gunners from Brentford last summer but has yet to start a Premier League game for the Emirates Stadium club.

The form of fellow summer signing Martin Zubimendi has limited Norgaard to four appearances off the bench in the league.

The 31-year-old has made 14 appearances across all competitions for Arsenal and has been praised by his teammates for his dedication.

Norgaard is always one of the last to leave the Arsenal training ground but would love to play more and could be on his way in the summer.

He is not the only player seeking regular football as Ben White is also set to have options to move.

The 28-year-old has featured in 19 games across all competitions for the North Londoners this term, starting 13 times.

However, White wants more and could be open to an exit having lost his place in the Arsenal starting XI in recent seasons.

Arteta has strengthened his defence in recent seasons, which has left the Englishman struggling to get back in the team even when fully fit and available for selection.

The Gunners are expected to further bolster their options across all departments in the summer transfer window regardless of what happens in their pursuit of silverware this season.

They are top of the Premier League table with ten games remaining and have been handed an easy draw in the Champions League.

Arsenal face Bayer Leverkusen in the round of 16 of the elite European competition and will fancy their chances of progressing to the quarter-finals.

They are already in the final of the Carabao Cup and will play Manchester City at Wembley next month.

Arsenal take on Mansfield Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup on March 7 and are expected to win a major silverware at the end of the campaign.
