Claudio Echeverri and Julio Enciso on Roma’s radar | OneFootball

Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini has been insistent that he wants more signings before the season begins. After having signed Evan Ferguson, they want another attacking player. Fabio Silva of Wolves was a name they were linked with but it now seems that they have discarded the option, because they want a different profile of forward and because of the fee Wolves wanted. As per Francesco Balzani (via Gazzetta.it), the options Roma are focusing on are Manchester City’s Claudio Echeverri and Brighton’s Julio Enciso. This means that they are looking for someone capable of playing both as an attacking midfielder and as a winger. The Argentine wonderkid, Echeverri has barely ever played for Pep Guardiola’s side since arriving a few months ago. As per reports, he could be on his way to Girona, City’s sister club.
