The arrival of Claudio Ranieri in the Italian capital has sparked great enthusiasm among football fans from all over the world.
Seeing the veteran technician return to his beloved club for the third time in his career at a time of need is one of the more exciting experiences a football fan can wish for.
At 73 years old, Ranieri has officially become the dean of coaches in Europe.
As reported by Il Messaggero, he was the oldest coach in Serie A when he led Cagliari to safety last year, and he is even older today as he has put his tracksuit and cap back on to lend a hand to his Roma. An elderly coach today, a mature executive tomorrow.
Sir Claudio is the oldest in Europe. Second to him is Manuel Pellegrini, two years younger, at Betis in Seville.
