Grace Clinton will wear the number six shirt during her time at Manchester City.

The England international has become our sixth and final summer signing ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, penning a four-year deal which will keep her at the Club until the summer of 2029.

She arrives at the Joie Stadium with a sparkling CV and with a phenomenal potential having been named the 2024 PFA Women’s Young Player of the Year.

Having already impressed during her spells with Everton, Manchester United, Bristol City and Spurs, she arrives at the Blues looking to improve even further and add to her success of helping England to Euro 2025 glory this summer.

And after linking up with Andrée Jeglertz’s side she will wear the No.6 shirt – following in the footsteps of Steph Houghton and Vivianne Miedema to have it emblazoned on the back of her City shirt.

Legendary former captain Houghton wore the number for all of her 242 appearances for the Club as she became our highest appearance holder while helping us to eight major honours – including the 2016 WSL title.

After she retired from football in the summer of 2024, Miedema collected the jersey after signing for the Club ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

During the clinical Netherlands international’s maiden term with the Blues she made 19 appearances, scored 11 goals and registered four assists before she switched to the No.10 shirt this summer.
