Club bosses are reportedly looking at ways to sign one on loan Chelsea player next summer after securing a move last month.
The transfer window now feels like a distant memory although it is only just a week since the window closed on deadline day last Monday.
Chelsea were pretty busy getting some last minute deals done, mostly outgoings.
There had been a lot of noise around Chelsea’s interest in Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi, but that soon died down and he was off to Liverpool if not for Palace pulling the plug on it in the final moments. Chelsea are now unlikely to make any play to try and sign their former defender ahead of Liverpool in the next window.
And talking about Liverpool and centre backs, Chelsea are apparently interested in signing one defender from Liverpool in one of the next transfer windows, with the future unclear around Ibrahima Konate right now.
So, plenty going on still and loads brewing up.
Aaron Anselmino signs for Borussia Dortmund on loan.
As reported by Sport Bild, Borussia Dortmund bosses are already looking into how they could sign Aaron Anselmino on a permanent basis. There’s no purchase clause inserted into the player’s loan, and so BVB could take a similar approach to their signing of Carney Chukwuemeka – where the player returned to his parent club before Dortmund negotiated a fee.
Anselmino joined Dortmund quite late on in the window on a season long loan deal and it looks to be a good move made by all parties.
He wasn’t going to be playing at Chelsea this season so he needed to go out and get minutes. Chelsea enjoy good transfer relations with Dortmund.
