🌎 Club World Cup: all you need to know before kick-off!

This Saturday to Sunday night, the new format of the FIFA Club World Cup will officially kick off with the match between Al Ahly and Inter Miami (02h00).

How the competition works

32 teams are participating in the competition. Europe is the most represented continent with 12 teams, followed by South America with six teams.

North America has five representatives, while Asia and Africa each have four participating clubs. Finally, Oceania has only one team in the running.

This competition works like a regular World Cup, with a group stage first, followed by round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and a final, all in single-elimination matches.

The final will take place on July 13 at 21h00.

Group composition

No luck for PSG, who inherited one of the toughest groups. Groups C and G should also provide some exciting matches.
