According to Americayya.net, Colo Colo have submitted an offer to take Víctor Dávila on a one-year loan, paying half of his salary. A decision is expected on Wednesday.
At Club América, the hierarchy and coaching staff believe one of Dávila or Pantera Zúñiga should leave to open a slot for a final signing. That addition has repeatedly been identified as Raphael Veiga.
Earlier, Pantera Zúñiga was offered to two clubs in Colombia. América have not received any bids for the Colombian forward.
Fernando Ortiz, América’s former coach, now manages the Chilean giants, and his intention is to bring together two of his former players at the club, Víctor Dávila and Diego Valdés.
The decision on Dávila rests with the player and América’s board as they consider whether to accept Colo Colo’s proposal. If the answer is negative, the likeliest departure would be Pantera Zúñiga.
