The Community Shield will be staged in Cardiff on 16 August, with Wembley unavailable due to concerts by The Weeknd. Wembley usually stages the fixture.
The FA announced on Monday that the national stadium had been booked for several dates by the Canadian pop star.

It will be the first time since 2006 that the season curtain-raiser returns to the Welsh capital. The match pits the previous season’s English league and FA Cup winners.
The Principality Stadium, which holds more than 74,000, hosted the Community Shield six times between 2001 and 2006 while Wembley was being rebuilt.
The 2025 edition was won by Crystal Palace against Liverpool after a 2-2 draw, 3-2 on penalties.
