Como sporting director reveals Nico Paz has desire for Real Madrid move | OneFootball

Serie A side Como are reaping the benefits of keeping Nico Paz at the club but it seems like the talent has the desire to return to Real Madrid.

In the summer, Tottenham came forward for the Argentine and offered a big fee to sign the player. These attempts were rejected, with reports increasingly confident that Real Madrid will re-sign the attacking midfielder for a significantly low fee next summer.

Como sporting director Carlalberto Ludi spoke to the press a day ahead of their game against Juventus.

He made it clear that the 21-year-old harbours the desire of a move to Real Madrid and everything now depends on him.

He said, via SOSFanta: “It’s normal that until something is finalized, I can’t comment. Nico is a player they developed, an extraordinary talent, who is developing in one of Europe’s top leagues. Real Madrid can exercise their buyback right. He plays in a league where there are many Real Madrid players. Everyone’s talking about him, and perhaps it’s also Nico’s legitimate desire, for a kid who grew up in that environment.”

Ludi also clarified that unless another club makes a major offer for Nico Paz, he is likely to join Real Madrid.

“I can’t speak for him, but I can imagine that’s the case, that he’s having a great time here. Real Madrid is certainly giving us back the fact that we worked well with Nico Paz, and also with Jacobo Ramon. How will it be finalized? I don’t know, there’s a written contract and rights. Unless an incredible team arrives and makes a higher offer. His fate depends on him, he must capitalize on his development at Como.”

The talent has started the season very well and has three goals and three assists. Como take on Juventus tomorrow and it will be a big game for the playmaker.
