Confirmed: FC Bayern has scheduled another friendly match! | OneFootball

FC Bayern Munich’s summer preseason is currently in full swing. Matches against Wehen Wiesbaden, Rottach-Egern, and Jeju SK FC have already been played, with more to come. A new tough test has now been officially scheduled. 

As planned, they’ll face Aston Villa on Friday; the match will be played in Hong Kong as part of the record champions’ Asian tour. The Telekom Cup match against RB Leipzig has also been finalized.

For Vincent Kompany, the record champions’ coach, however, it was important for the national team players—especially those returning late—to get back into the swing of things before the Super Cup against BVB (August 22).

Bayern Agrees to Tough Test Before Competitive Season Begins

For this reason , the record champions have now confirmed another match. On August 18, FC Bayern will play its final preseason friendly against 1. FC Heidenheim before the start of competitive play. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.

This match may also provide an opportunity for players who have recently been in rehabilitation training to see some action. This could apply above all to Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies, and Lennart Karl. Serge Gnabry still needs a little more time.
