Manchester City take on West Ham on matchday 17 of the Premier League campaign at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues have won their last six games in all competitions and remained on Arsenal’s heels with a 3-0 win away at Crystal Palace last weekend, with Phil Foden scoring his seventh league goal of the season and Erling Haaland grabbing a brace.

Pep Guardiola’s side registered their berth in the Carabao Cup semi-final in midweek as goals from man-of-the-moment Rayan Cherki and Savinho saw City see off Brentford in a 2-0 win at the Etihad Stadium, though Oscar Bobb’s injury has further deteriorated attacking depth in a side that is missing Jeremy Doku and Omar Marmoush.

Doku missed Manchester City’s win in south London last week and is sidelined till the New Year, with Marmoush representing the Egypt National Team at the Africa Cup of Nations as Guardiola and co express interest in Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, who is available for £65 million next month.

Rodri and John Stones remain out for the Blues, with the former fully fit but being protected by Guardiola and his coaching staff, who have seen the 29-year-old Spain international suffer a series of injury setbacks since his return from an ACL injury in May.

Stones suffered a thigh injury earlier this month and it remains to be seen when the England defender, who is out of contract at the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season, could be back in action for the Blues.

Mateo Kovacic remains out of contention till the spring of 2026 after undergoing surgery on his heel, with City devoid of options in holding midfield and Nico Gonzalez playing every game as director of football Hugo Viana and co also mull over the addition of a midfielder in the January transfer window.

Ahead of Saturday’s 15:00 UK kick-off between Manchester City and West Ham at the Etihad Stadium, here are the confirmed line-ups from both dressing rooms.
