Liverpool are reportedly on the brink of massive talks. A contract is already prepared.
Liverpool have some serious work to do this summer and it appears their first major negotiation with another club is right around the corner. This comes as Ibrahima Konate is locked in talks with the Reds as his contract is about to expire.
Mohamed Salah’s departure has already been confirmed. As has Andy Robertson’s. Curtis Jones may depart, too, with just one year remaining on his deal and Joe Gomez could follow.
And then there’s Alisson Becker. The Brazilian also has one year remaining but is heavily linked with a move to Juventus.
So much so that journalist Nicolo Schira reports that a contract is ready for the goalkeeper. Juventus have discussed terms with the player’s representatives and it seems Alisson is ready to say yes.
The contract would last through 2029 and pay him €5m per year. All that really remains is an agreement with Liverpool and that may not be far away.
Schira claims the two clubs will enter talks in the coming weeks and we do imagine the Reds will agree to something. They’d prefer to get a fee for Alisson now after an injury-hit season rather than lose him for nothing in 2027.
In all likelihood, we can add him to the growing list of goodbyes next week.
Liverpool Performance and Stats
As of 15 May 2026, Alisson Becker is nearing a return to action following a persistent hamstring injury that has sidelined him for nine matches. The 33-year-old has made 25 Premier League appearances this season, recording eight clean sheets and an average FotMob rating of 6.84. Arne Slot confirmed on 14 May that Alisson has returned to training and could feature in tonight’s trip to Aston Villa, though he remains a late doubt.
Transfer Speculation
Reports from 14 May indicate that Alisson has "indicated" he would accept a move to Juventus. The Italian giants have allegedly offered a three-year contract worth €15 million annually. With Liverpool already securing Giorgi Mamardashvili, speculation suggests the Brazilian is ready for a new challenge after eight years at Anfield.
International Standing
Alisson has been named in Brazil's provisional 2026 World Cup squad. Despite his recent injury struggles, he is expected to be fully fit for the tournament in June.
