Corinthians aim to extend strong Libertadores Feminina run

On the afternoon of this Saturday, October 11, Corinthians faces Boca Juniors from Argentina at the Nuevo Francisco Urbano Stadium in Morón, in a match valid for the quarterfinals of the Conmebol Libertadores Feminina. In the first phase, the Alvinegro qualified as the leader of Group A with seven points.

Throughout its history in the competition, Corinthians has reached the quarterfinals—introduced in 2019—on six occasions, being eliminated only once, in 2022, precisely by Boca Juniors, after a 2-1 defeat. The Brabas are the most successful team in the tournament with five titles (2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2024).

In 2019, in the quarterfinals, Corinthians eliminated Santiago Morning from Chile after winning 2-0. The following year, they again eliminated the same opponent in the same stage with a resounding 7-0 victory. In the 2021 edition, the Brabas faced Allianza Lima from Peru and triumphed 2-1.

In 2022, as already mentioned, the Brabas bid farewell to the international competition in the quarterfinals after a 2-1 defeat against Boca Juniors. In 2023, the Alvinegro eliminated América de Cali from Colombia by winning 4-0. In 2024, the club from Parque São Jorge defeated Olimpia from Paraguay in the same stage, 2-0.
