Corinthians arrive in Florianópolis with absentees for Copa do Brasil, travelling squad named | OneFootball

Corinthians landed in Florianópolis on Monday evening to face Barra in the Copa do Brasil, but travelled without several players. According to Globo.com, the delegation went straight into camp at their hotel before Tuesday's first leg.

The fifth-phase opener is at Ressacada on Tuesday at 21:30 Brasília time. The return is on 14 May at 19:30 at Neo Química Arena.

After two Libertadores and two Brasileiro games, Timão travelled without goalkeeper Hugo Souza, who has muscle pain, and midfielder André, who has a cold.

There are further injury absences. João Pedro Tchoca has pubic pain, Charles a right-heel injury, Memphis Depay a grade 2 muscle injury to the front of his right thigh, Gui Negão a strain in the back of his right thigh, and Hugo is recovering from surgery to reconstruct the meniscus in his right knee.

Head coach Fernando Diniz is expected to rotate, using several reserves, after four matches in which he kept the same starters three times and made two enforced changes in the other.

On arrival, Rodrigo Garro, Yuri Alberto, Fabrizio Angileri, André Ramalho, Gustavo Henrique and Allan posed for photos and signed autographs for supporters.

The travelling party comprises goalkeepers Kauê, Felipe Longo and Pietro, full-backs Matheuzinho, Matheus Bidu, Fabrizio Angileri and Pedro Milans, centre-backs André Ramalho, Gustavo Henrique and Gabriel Paulista, midfielders Allan, Rodrigo Garro, Breno Bidon, Zakaria Labyad, Carrillo, Raniele, Matheus Pereira and Dieguinho, and forwards Yuri Alberto, Pedro Raul, Vitinho, Jesse Lingard, Kaio César and Kayke.
