Corinthians have confirmed midfielder Matheus Pereira has begun his physical transition as he returns from injury, while a statute reform vote has been moved away from the Deliberative Council and loanee Ryan celebrated the Campeonato Cearense with Fortaleza.
The 28-year-old is recovering from a grade two injury to the biceps femoris in his left thigh.
The vote on the draft reform of the club’s statute is not expected to go back to the Deliberative Council.
Council president Romeu Tuma Júnior ended the session early after club president Osmar Stabile accused him of interfering in the board’s management. The matter has been referred to the General Assembly of members.
Ryan, a midfielder on loan from Corinthians and a product of the club’s academy, won the Campeonato Cearense with Fortaleza. He did not feature in the final, where his team beat Ceará on penalties to lift the trophy at Castelão.
