Corinthians have delayed image rights payments to their women’s squad. According to Meu Timao, the payment, due by the 15th of this month, has not yet been made.

Beyond the image rights issue, eight instalments remain outstanding from the Libertadores Feminina title bonus, won in October 2025. The club had initially pledged to clear the amount in 12 instalments.

A further sum is pending from the Copa das Campeãs runners-up award earlier this year. An agreement set that 80% of the prize would be shared among players, coaches and support staff, with 20% retained by Corinthians. The club received about R$ five point three million from Fifa.

Corinthians carry a gross debt of roughly R$ two point seven billion. The financial picture worsened in March, with an accumulated deficit of R$ 131.1 million, a 40% rise on the R$ 93.7 million declared by February and nearly three times the R$ 36.4 million budgeted for the period.

While working to resolve these liabilities, the women’s team remain focused on three competitions. On Thursday 21, the Brabas host Santos at 19:15 at Fazendinha in the third round of the Campeonato Paulista.
