Corinthians duo enjoying their busiest season yet

On the night of last Thursday (13), Corinthians drew 0-0 with Ferroviária at Arena Fonte Luminosa, in a match valid for the 13th round of the first phase of the Paulista Women's Championship. The result secured the Brabas at the top of the state league with 32 points and home advantage in the semifinals and final of the tournament.

Despite the draw, the match marked an important milestone in the career of left-back Tamires. Wearing number 37, at 38 years old, she reached 35 games in a single season, making this the most active year of her professional career, not counting matches for the Brazilian National Team in the sport.

Previously, the years in which Tamires had played the most in her career were 2020 and 2023, when she took the field 33 times in each of those years. Since joining Corinthians in mid-2019, the left-back has accumulated 206 games in the Corinthians shirt (171 as a starter), with 161 wins, 32 draws, and only 13 losses – an 83.3% success rate.

In total, so far, she has scored 37 goals and provided 50 assists, in addition to 17 titles including the Brazilian Championship, Paulista, Supercopa, Copa Paulista, and the Conmebol Libertadores Femenina.

Center-back Thais Regina, who is in her first season with Corinthians, has already played 36 times in 2025 and is also experiencing her most active season in her career. Previously, her busiest year was 2021, when she played 34 times for Palmeiras.

Since joining Corinthians, the defender has been establishing herself as a starter in the Brabas' defense alongside Mariza. In total, she has 19 wins, 13 draws, and four losses – nearly a 65% success rate, with one goal scored and one assist. So far, she has won two titles: the Brasileirão and Libertadores, both in 2025.

Her debut in the Corinthians shirt took place at the beginning of March, in a 3-0 victory over Grêmio at Arena do Grêmio, in the quarterfinals of the Women's Supercopa do Brasil.

Thais Ferreira began her career in 2017 with Ponte Preta, where she played 17 matches. The following year, in 2018, she played 18 times for the Campinas team. Between 2019 and 2022, she played for Palmeiras, appearing in 29 games in her first year, 26 in the second, 34 in the third, and 20 in the fourth. In 2022/2023 and 2023/2024, she transferred to Tenerife, Spain, where she played 17 and 29 matches, respectively.
