Corinthians face Supercopa and Women’s Club World Cup deciders this week | OneFootball

Corinthians enter a short but pivotal week featuring the Supercopa do Brasil final and the inaugural Women’s Club World Cup. According to Meu Timao, the club also begin the Brasileiro and hold two statute reform hearings.

On Monday, 26/01, a public hearing starts at 18.00 at Parque São Jorge to debate statute changes, covering the board voting system, honorary life councillors and absence rules for those councillors.

On Wednesday at 9.30 Brasília time, the women face Gotham FC of London in the Copa das Campeãs semi-final at the Gtech Community Stadium in London. A win takes the Brabas to the final, a defeat means the third-place match, both set for Sunday, 01/02, against Arsenal, the hosts, or AS FAR of Morocco, with timings to be confirmed by FIFA.

Later on Wednesday at 20.00, Corinthians meet Bahia in the Brasileiro opener, hosted at Vila Belmiro. The venue forms part of an agreement to bring forward the league debut with the Supercopa in mind.

On Friday, 30/01, another hearing, also from 18.00 at Parque São Jorge, discusses the structures of the Conselho de Orientação, Cori, and the Conselho Fiscal, CF.

Sunday concludes the week with Dorival Júnior’s side playing Flamengo, the reigning Brazilian champions, in the one-off Supercopa final at 16.00 at Mané Garrincha in Brasília.
