Corinthians fans reject renewing Vitinho for 2027 in poll | OneFootball

According to Meu Timao, a fan poll shows most Corinthians supporters are against keeping Vitinho for 2027, with 89.9% saying they would not extend his deal. His contract runs until 31 December, so he is free to sign a pre-contract elsewhere.

Only 10.1% backed his renewal into next season. He joined on a free in 2025 after leaving Al-Ettifaq, at Dorival Júnior’s request, to add pace out wide.

Since arriving, he has played 38 matches, scoring one goal and supplying four assists. He was in the squad for the club’s two most recent titles, but only lists the 2025 Copa do Brasil after missing registration for this year’s Supercopa Rei.

This season he has featured in 21 games and was heavily used in the Campeonato Paulista. His first, and so far only, goal came in stoppage time against Portuguesa, forcing penalties that Corinthians won to reach the semi-finals.

His last appearance was the 2-0 win over Peñarol of Uruguay in the Libertadores group stage, when he sustained a right hip obturator muscle strain, then missed the run-in before the World Cup break. Early this month he returned to on-grass work at CT Dr Joaquim Grava under physio supervision, with an expectation he could play after competitions resume.

Corinthians have a friendly on Sunday 12 against Cascavel. Their first official game back is on 23, at Neo Química Arena, against Remo in the 19th round of the Brasileiro.
