Corinthians held to bitter Santos draw as Kaio César speaks and RCE plan outlined

Corinthians’ Thursday was dominated by a bitter draw with Santos in the Paulista and off-field updates.

They took the lead in the first half and were the better side across the 90 minutes, but Santos equalised after a free-kick was wrongly awarded to the hosts.

According to Meu Timao, forward Kaio César spoke about having an agreement and reiterated his wish to wear the black-and-white shirt after Al-Hilal’s 4-1 win over Al-Fayha in the Saudi league.

Earlier, the club’s court-approved Regime Centralizado de Execuções outlined a payment plan. Corinthians will make payments to administrator Laspro, which will pass funds on to creditors.

The agreement is set to last 10 years.
