Corinthians have introduced double points for fans who attend and a cashback option for those who release tickets in advance within Fiel Torcedor. According to Globo.com, the move targets real occupancy at Neo Química Arena.
Facial recognition has revealed that some supporters buy only to accrue points without attending. The non-attendance rate averages 10%, roughly one in 10 buyers failing to enter.
Both measures take effect from the Red Bull Bragantino game on 12. Points are now awarded at purchase and again after validated entry on matchday.
Members on "Minha Vida" receive one point for buying and one point after check-in. "Minha História", "Meu Amor" and "Minha Cadeira" award one and a half points at purchase and one and a half points after check-in.
All points are credited after the match. Cashback lets absentees who release in time keep purchase points and receive credit for future tickets.
Supporters can free their ticket via their Fiel Torcedor login up to 48 hours before kick-off, retaining purchase points and getting cashback. Rates are 10% for "Minha Vida", 20% for "Minha História" and 30% for "Meu Amor".
The rules cover all members, primary holders and dependants, except "Minha Cadeira", which already operates a ticket pool. If release happens between 48 hours and six hours before the game, only purchase points are kept and no cashback is due.
If there is neither stadium entry nor release within the deadline, no points will be granted for purchase or check-in.
