Corinthians line-up: Matheus Bidu a doubt as Diniz may use Pedro Milans at left-back | OneFootball

Corinthians resumed training on Tuesday morning ahead of Athletico-PR on Thursday, with Fernando Diniz still unsure whether left-back Matheus Bidu will be available.

According to Globo.com, Bidu missed the last outing with pubis pain, attended CT Joaquim Grava on Tuesday but worked inside rather than on the pitch. Centre-forward Pedro Raul, also with pubis pain, and midfielder Alex Santana, with muscular discomfort, were the other absences.

If Bidu is not fit, Diniz may use right-back Pedro Milans on the left because Fabrizio Angileri is suspended after his third yellow card. Left-footer Hugo has recently rejoined the group after surgery to reconstruct the lateral meniscus in his right knee.

The squad held two tactical sessions at CT Joaquim Grava, working on possession, finishing and crosses.

The starting XI is likely to be finalised after Wednesday's session.

A possible XI is Hugo Souza in goal, Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique and Pedro Milans, or Matheus Bidu, at left-back, Raniele, André, Breno Bidon and Rodrigo Garro in midfield, Kaio César and Yuri Alberto up front.

Corinthians have 28 points in the Brasileiro, are unbeaten in four in Série A and remain in pursuit of the top five. The match against the Furacão kicks off at 19:30 Brasília time at Neo Química Arena.
