Corinthians have made an initial enquiry for Real Madrid right-back Antônia, with rivals Palmeiras also exploring a move.

According to Meu Timao, the club recently made contact to gather information on the 32-year-old’s situation. With her contract running until mid-2027, no deal is advanced and only preliminary checks have taken place.

Antônia is open to returning to Brazilian football as she plans towards the next World Cup. She has had recent fitness issues at Real Madrid and has appeared in only two matches in 2026.

A graduate of ABC de Natal, she had a brief spell with Corinthians in 2017, playing once in the Libertadores, a campaign that brought the club’s first continental title. After the partnership between the Brabas and Osasco Audax ended, she continued her career with other São Paulo sides.

In Europe she has represented Madrid CFF, Levante and Real Madrid, and for Brazil she has played at the Copa América, World Cup and Olympic Games. Corinthians are also monitoring forward Gabi Nunes, who is under contract with Aston Villa until June this year and is in early talks over salary terms.
