Corinthians midfielder close to top scorer spot in Women's Libertadores

Corinthians drew 1-1 with Independiente Del Valle from Ecuador last Thursday afternoon, October 2nd, in the first round of the group stage of the Conmebol Libertadores Femenina. The match took place at the Florencio Sola Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The goal for the Brabas was scored by midfielder Gabi Zanotti, who reached her tenth goal – in 30 matches – for Corinthians in the Libertadores Femenina and became the fourth highest scorer in this category in the history of the club from Parque São Jorge. She is only behind Vic Albuquerque (19 goals in 32 games), Grazi (13 goals in 25 games), and Millene (12 goals in 17 games).

In the 2025 season, the number 10 jersey is the team's second top scorer with 13 goals in 30 matches. The leader of the ranking is Vic Albuquerque, with 14 goals in 35 matches. In Libertadores Femenina matches for Corinthians, Gabi Zanotti has accumulated 23 wins, five draws, and two losses – winning four tournament titles (2019, 2021, 2023, and 2024).

Zanotti's goals in the international competition were scored against Ecuadorian, Venezuelan, Uruguayan, Paraguayan, and Argentine teams. Playing in the Corinthians jersey, the "Queen" has 239 matches (192 as a starter), with 190 wins, 32 draws, and 17 losses – an 84% success rate.

In total, there are 78 goals scored and 18 titles won, including the Brazilian Championship, Copa Paulista, Conmebol Libertadores, Supercopa Femenina, and Campeonato Paulista.
