Corinthians off to their best Brasileirão start in four years

Despite being eliminated in the semifinals of the Paulista Championship, Corinthians has been achieving good results in the early rounds of the Brasileirão, which began simultaneously with the State Championship due to changes in the Brazilian football calendar. The positive start in the competition accredits the start of this season's campaign as the best for Timão in four years.

With four rounds of the Brazilian Championship played so far, Corinthians has accumulated seven points, ranking third on the table. The Alvinegro secured victories over Red Bull Bragantino and Athletico-PR, drew with Cruzeiro in the last round, and was defeated by Bahia in the first.

Timão hasn't reached this point tally so quickly since the 2022 campaign, when they earned nine points in the same four rounds.
